Spektrum is founded by passionate and experienced ski and snowboarders.
The founders are:
Andreas started his snowboarding carreer at the age of 6 and he was hooked from day one. Splitting his year between the Swedish winter resort of Tänndalen and the glaciers of Stryn in the summer he developed a unique style combining speed and trademark smoothness that landed him international sponsorships with brands like Oakley, Airwalk and WeSC. No stranger to international magazine covers he was hitting podium spots at major pipe and big air events across the globe and was at the height of his pro career when injury struck and he was forced to retire. That put him on the path to getting a hair cut, starting up several successful businesses and eventually co-founding Spektrum.
Robert started skiing at the age of 2 and always had a need for speed. Since his early days as a ski racer when he discovered he had a unusual talent for the downhill discipline through his professional freeskiing carreer where he was hitting big lines on big mountains faster than anyone. He was part of creating the thriving Swedish freeskiing scene that during the late 90’s and early 2000’s was a huge influence on what modern skiing was to become. Winning major competitions across the globe and being part of countless international freeskiing movies Robert is somewhat of a skiing legend around these parts.
Henrik was always a happy kid. Most happy when he was on his skis and that in combination with a large scoop of talent and some fairly hard work led him to a spot on the Swedish national team in mogul skiing. Working his way through Europa Cup and Word Cup races he was earning top spots that got him all the way to the Olympic team bound for Nagano. At the same time as he was hitting the moguls, Henrik was also a part of the emerging freeskiing scene when he too was injured and had to put his professional skis on the rack. He went on to co-founding his own ski clothing brand and has been in the industry we call home ever since.
Anders has spent years and years travelling the world in search of perfect powder and steep mountains. Behind the lens of his camera he has captured the very best of the world’s snowboarders and skiers going down impossible faces and spinning off gigantic kickers, bringing their acts of heroism to the masses. Not many photographers on this planet can boast with as many published bangers as Neuman. Being a part owner of Transition Magazine for many years Anders has an good insight in the world of action sports and he is occasionally working with heavy hitting clients like Red Bull, Volcom and Vans to this day.
