Welcome Ingemar Stenmark
Legendary skier Ingemar Stenmark back on the mountain.
One of the most legendary alpine skiers of all time, Ingemar Stenmark is a new partner and active board member in the Swedish eyewear company Spektrum. By taking an operative part in the company that designs, manufactures and distributes goggles for ski and snowboarding, as well as sunglasses, Ingemar is returning to his roots as a skier.
–Spektrum is a very exciting task for me. To help develop outstanding products and to be part of the journey of building a successful company and brand is a wonderful challenge. The key thing that really made me want to be a part of Spektrum was the fact that I feel I can really stand behind the products. Besides, the founders have a genuine interest and background within skiing and snowboarding and are a great and ambitious bunch of guys, says Ingemar.

Stenmark is already active in the company as a board member and as an active part in detailed decisions when it comes to product development, business development and marketing. Spektrum was founded in 2012 by friends Henrik Köhler, Robert Olsson, Andreas Nilemo and Anders Neuman, all with substantial professional backgrounds within skiing and snowboarding. The company has been an instant success based on the clean functional design, high quality and strong perception of the market. In 2014 the company won the award ”Newcomer of the year” with sports business publication Sportfack and the products will be available on 10 geographic markets for the 16/17 season. The company goal is to double sales growth during 2017 for a fifth consecutive year.
